Things you won’t see me blogging about any time soon…

Just because I’m not blogging it doesn’t mean I’m not cooking, but not everything I cook (and eat) gets blogged about. You get what I’m saying?

Sometimes it’s because what I cooked (or more specifically in most of these cases, baked) didn’t turn out quite right, and sometimes it’s because I’m following other people’s recipes – and I can’t really blog too much about those.

So, you won’t see me mentioning how I recently followed David Lebovitz’ recipes for Goat Cheese Soufflés or Home-Made Nutella, you definitely won’t hear me mention my failed first attempt at French macarons (note the cracked surface on the photograph), and you surely won’t read about my Madeleines (slightly overcooked – but another first attempt, so I forgive myself) or my cinnamon french toast (made with cheapy English bread)…

Whether they quite made it too the blog or not, they were all delicious.

Wait, where are you going? I didn’t yet mention my (cow-pat resembling, but delicious) chocolate omelette souffle, home-made mayonnaise, or the rhubarb crumble which is in the oven as I speak…

Come back!
