Firstly, It’s almost 2007 - so Happy New Year to all of you!

Second, starting the year as we mean to go on, RealEpicurean.com is now a member of 9rules - or so we’re led to believe, by this post (still waiting for official confirmation). If you don’t know what 9rules is, head on over there and find out - you won’t be disappointed. More from me on this in later posts.

Finally, it turns out that I was “tagged” by Lil at iFaNTaBuLouS for a meme called “5 Things You Didn’t Know About Me” a couple of days ago. Far be it from me to refuse to play along!

In the spirit of the meme, here’s 5 things you (probably) didn’t know about me:

1. I’m currently studying for a degree in my spare time at home…Modules including Social Science, Computers, and Business Studies. Basically I don’t have any spare time!

2. I was far too lazy in school. Perhaps if I’d paid more attention instead of messing around so much, I wouldn’t be sat here doing a degree at 27 years old…

3. I love Greek food above all else. Don’t ask me why - I have no idea. It’s not flashy, just tasty. As I type, I can smell tonights dinner (Stifado) cooking, and it smells delicious.

4. My family originates in Scotland. I’m English born and bred, but take me to the highlands any time. It feels like it should be my home, even if it isn’t. Someone please give me enough money to build a house there.

5. I’m going to be running a food blogging even called “Local Food Blogging” very soon. Watch this space…
