Did you miss me? No posts in a week, but a new design instead. Well, I couldn’t have any of my new 9rules visitors getting put off by the old look, could I?
The new theme is not quite finished; I’ve still got to tweak the image sizes down a little bit, and a few other geeky, technical things.
I’ve gone for a more “Web 2.0” look (a bad buzz-word, I know), focusing on usability and accessibility - making it easy to navigate and read.
Let me know your opinions or suggestions, good or bad. They’re appreciated.

I like the look - clean and colourful and not fussy. I may not necessarily use, or even understand the new geeky things you promise (threaten), but then I’m a No-Frills Slightly Technophobic kinda girl myself (NOTE: literary licence used here with the word “girl”). I do like useability and accessibility though. Main thing is - keep up the recipe posting.

how come my revamp ended up with further clean up needed and yours is so perfect! ah well, must not give up and persevere in my learning…

Lil: It’s far from perfect - the size of images and the speed of my host makes sure of that. I’m working on both of those as we speak.

Congrats on your acceptance into 9Rules too. (You congratulated me at filmtops.com). I like your new design. Clean, simple and elegant. I’m loving the entries. The articles and pics make me want to cook and bake all the time.
