What happened to the weather?

It’s not even winter, and yet I woke up to this…

Snow, November 2010

Snow!

Either I slept for a month, or the seasons have gone barmy.  Does this mean I can have my presents now?

Edited 28/11/2010: It’s still snowing!  This is the image from my window today, temperature somewhere around -7 degrees c.

Well officially winter doesn’t start until the 22nd of December…but I’ll agree to the stews and soups; need to get some of those on the blog, I think!

We went for a walk yestarday, it was amazing. Today we have even more snow and it is still snowing. I just managed to get to work, and the temperature in my office was about 8C, 45F. ;) But I try to enjoy it. I hope we will have white Xmas. :) Have a nic day, Scott!

It looks wonderful, I realise that it is cold and inclement but when you have humidity and heat it looks divine.

Ah, I thought that until it took me 3.5 hours to get home from work tonight – and my car didn’t even manage to get all the way here. Now I hate the stuff!

I’ve just been checking my feeds and there are soooo many soup recipes and bread recipes. What are we like, couple of flakes of snow and we go all dickensian…

Ah, try telling that to my poor motor stranded away from home because it decided it couldn’t go through the snow any more!

Oh nooo! Hope you have managed to dig it out. We actually don’t have any snow here, we are in some unique and strange pocket of the UK at the mo, but ’tis coming tonight. Bleeding cold enough for it.

          So…did you get it?

          • http://hampshirecook.wordpress.com Skyler

Yup, sure did. 7 inches! Work shut, chaos on the roads, and snow drifting up the wheel arches of my ancient old Rav. Quite something for this neck of the woods apparently!
