Free Cookbook Giveaway!

March 1st, 2009 by Scott | Print this page Print This Article | Leave a Comment

No time to blog today (damn this eternal degree) but certainly time to give away a couple of free cookbooks.  Hands up who wants ‘em?

All you have to do to win is submit a comment telling me that you want them, and one person will be picked at random later in the month.  It’s just like those competitions you used to find on the back of cereal boxes when you were younger (perhaps they still do them, I haven’t looked in a while!).

Free Cookbooks

Free Cookbooks

The books in question are Traditional Puddings and Desserts and Supper for Friends by Mary Berry.  Mary has had over 9 TV series and 40 cookbooks so certainly knows what she’s talking about.

Leave me a comment now to stand a chance of winning these great books!

  81. Leon STOKES says:

Thank you for your inspirational competition. We would be absolutely beside ourselves to give it a go. We are always cooking and are slightly partial to spicy dishes. Coffs Harbour is our abode in Australia, of course. We attend the chili, curry, and potato festivals and love a tepid sort of day. I like my pizza, too, and sometimes we make a homemade one, when not visiting the pizzeria. Your books would be the perfect complement to our lifestyle and we wish you well. Many culinary blessings from all of us here in Coffs.

    Bon Appetit,
    Leon Stokes

  82. Nora Gillespie says:

My husband has recently had (2 weeks ago) coronary bypass five bypass surgery. I am looking for low sodium, low carb recipies I can use or alter to meet his dietary needs. There was no blood flow to the bottom of the heart and he had not suffered any heart damage or a heart attack and even the doctor’s said “God is the only reason he is alive.” We have been truly blessed.

  83. Cheryl Clements says:

I would love either cookbook. I am a Canadian trapped in the US and have the hardest time finding anything remotely like home and British is so familiar to us, I would love to have these cookbooks. Thankyou!
