Why not just a more general vague campaign…

“If you can read this, there is a 100% chance you WILL DIE!”

      It’s just as effective.

Their heart is in the right place I guess, but I have found it to be much more effective to glorify delicious healthy foods than to disparage less than perfect foods.

Agreed. We all know that telling people not to do something only makes them more likely to do it, most of the time. Perhaps simple targets to manufacturers about reducing saturated fat would work better.

haha..catchy headline! i think everyone knows how bad fried food is but with all the fast food ads around..it’s quite hard!
i suppose, once in a while, home made fried food is all right :)

      • scott says:

Well I fry, grill, bake or whatever as I need to. It seems the healthiest and longest living people aren’t those who analyse every aspect of their diet, rather those who eat the most natural and un-processed food and stay active.

    4. Hi Scott!

This is practically a worldwide problem for the bad habits in eating, especially with permanent fried foods.
Eating less fried dishes and doing aerobic exercise you down the potential heart diseases.
The glorious olive oil helps in this matter for the important quantity of omega 3 it has.

      Cheers!

Hi Gera, I agree with you wholeheartedly. The simple facts are that fruit, vegetables and literally anything that GROWS are good for you. Stuff made in factories generally isn’t. It’s not so complicated at a basic level.

    5. Lil says:

with all sorts of food warning left right and center, why can’t people just adhere to one simple rule – everything in moderation.

afterall, even drinking too much water can kill. :$

      • scott says:

Hi Lil, great to see you here – since your blog went private I haven’t seen you around!

A great point made about water – the purest thing known to man. Kind of philosophical implications too, when you think about it.

    6. Craig says:

lmao, everyone dies at some point, we aint immortal! Jesus, get a grip, we all know fried food is bad but its all in MODERATION! i very much doubt you will die from eating fried food in moderation, give me the 100% scientific facts (in moderation) then you have a case!
