Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! I haven’t managed to cook anything seasonal this year (we’re having the kitchen overhauled) but many other people from the food blogging world have. With that in mind I thought I’d mention some of the best that have caught my eye recently:

- Susan from Wild Yeast with her great recipe for Hot Cross Buns. There’s nothing more traditional than these around Easter and I love ‘em!
- Nicky from Delicious Days has tried out a different way of poaching an egg. That might not sound to exciting, but wait till you see the pictures! Eggy perfection.
- Jessica from DelicousBits has written an article about colouring your own eggs. Great when you have kids – or are a kid at heart, like me! I haven’t done this in years
That’s enough for now – find some more by yourselves. Have a great Easter!

Happy Easter, Scott.
The egg poaching isn’t very original. Here was my attempt a year ago and I found the idea elsewhere on the web:

Trig: Well there’s the difference between a chef and someone who just sits at home cooking food. You could fool me with anything
Hey Scott, thanks for the mention and happy Easter!
did you get your lights yet? just wanted to give you a tip – tilt the lights down to point them at the food.
Hi Jaden,
Well I bought one and it actually arrived yesterday – I haven’t had a chance to play yet, though. I’m also waiting on a new lens for my camera (macro) so hopefully I can start playing by the weekend!
Thanks again!
Scott.
You’re having your kitchen overhauled, too? Join the club! Works here started on Tuesday – only 6 more weeks to go… Am already missing cooking, big time.
aforkfulofspaghetti: unfortunately ours isn’t scheduled to make life much better…Replacing a boiler, some painting and re-tiling…I need to sell this house
