There’s a couple of interesting things about this recipe. First, it’s cooked with the heat turned off (which probably has something which Molecular Gastronomy could explain better then me), and secondly, the resulting stock liquid can be turned into a soup quickly and easily. Dinner for two days!

Herbal tea is fantastic in many ways, but many people just don’t seem to know how many different varieties it’s possible to make at home.
My favourite device for making tea is this delightful Infuser, as pictured, and makes life so much easier - and as such I would recommend that any tea enthusiast buys one. [...]

I’m pleased to announce a new food blogging event based around Seasonal Food, which I’m sure you all know I’m vert passionate about. The event is a joint effort between myself, Cherry’s English Kitchen and A Slice of Cherry Pie, and is being held at the latter (A Slice of Cherry Pie) for the first time ever in May.

Don’t look at me like that. If you saw this seasonal dish in a restaurant marked up as “Escargot” you’d probably be tempted. So why not try them for free at home?
