    Oooh, this photo is so intriguing and mysterious. I have two guesses- one, it has something to do with molecular gastronomy, some foam or emulsion type thing in the making?
    Two, possibly an explosion in the microwave….?…

    Hmm… I have three guesses: chinese new year, nuclear tomato or seriously spicy chilli? Or three in one – mutated nuclear tomato ate seriously spicy chilli during chinese new year celebrations…

    I’ve got it…Vegetables – once resembling red peppers – after I gave myself a crash course in roasting them in my new gas oven….ha! ha!
