New Year, New Design

Did you miss me? No posts in a week, but a new design instead. Well, I couldn’t have any of my new 9rules visitors getting put off by the old look, could I?

The new theme is not quite finished; I’ve still got to tweak the image sizes down a little bit, and a few other geeky, technical things.

I’ve gone for a more “Web 2.0” look (a bad buzz-word, I know), focusing on usability and accessibility – making it easy to navigate and read.

Let me know your opinions or suggestions, good or bad. They’re appreciated.

I like the look – clean and colourful and not fussy. I may not necessarily use, or even understand the new geeky things you promise (threaten), but then I’m a No-Frills Slightly Technophobic kinda girl myself (NOTE: literary licence used here with the word “girl”). I do like useability and accessibility though. Main thing is – keep up the recipe posting.

Lil: It’s far from perfect – the size of images and the speed of my host makes sure of that. I’m working on both of those as we speak.
