Behind the Apron…

You wont see me post photographs of myself very often – I’m far too self conscious for that. This photo (taken at our wedding in June 2006) is a one off, due to an event being held by 28 Cooks…

The premise is simple enough – to reveal the people behind some of the internet’s food blogs, so that readers can put a face to the name.
I’m happy enough to go along with it – but if you don’t like the face (I’m the man, by the way), please try to imagine a different one when reading my blog…
And please don’t forget – Weekend Herb Blogging is coming here this Sunday, 21st January! You can send me your entries any time between now and then.

Hello hello, lovely shot and nice to see you!
Bea: Thankyou very much! Now I feel I need to get back to some recipes – there’s been far too few since Christmas!

What a lovely couple! Scott, were you ever in some sort of cooking reality show? Gosh you seem familiar!
What a lovely picture that is, Scott! Your wife is beautiful and you’re not so bad yourself!
You both look so good together!
Nice to have a face to go with a blogger name.
I’m glad you decided to particpate! Great photo!
rowena: Never in a reality show. Maybe you’ve just seen me around ; )
VANI: Thanks! I think…No so bad? Tut tut : p
Brilynn: Thanks a lot. I read about it over at your site!
Your web site is looking better than ever
Rob: Thanks. Feedback is always appreciated.
There’s a compliment in it somewhere, Scott! Has to be sifted through thoroughly to get to it, though!
New Year, new changes to the site, huh? I like the new look too.
Lesson 1 Scott – if you want to look good, don’t pose with someone who upstages you.
Vani: Thanks for noticing the new look – I’m still “tweaking” it.
Trig: Damnit! Remind me to ask an ugly passer-by next time I need a photograph taking!
Hey – you look a lot like my mate Ian. Are you related to any Blomfields?
Seriously though, that is a very lovely photo. I didn’t realise you got married so recently. Congratulations!
Ros: I seem to look like everybody – I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or not! And thanks for the congratulations and the like : )

This is my first time to your blog and I get to see such a handsome couple! Nice! And I am going to take part in the Weekend Herb Blogging too! Just gotta take a picture of the herb then I can shoot the email to you.
Christiane: No problem to join in – I’m looking forward to seeing everyone else’s photos, too.
simcooks: It’ll be great to see you at Weekend Herb Blogging! I’ve had one submission without a photo, so that’s not essential (but nice, if you can).
What a good looking couple! I’ve always said your wife was gorgeous. Lovely to see you, Scott!
Also, thanks for the well wishes while i was on holiday. No, i haven’t stopped blogging just couldn’t get a decent online connection in Thailand, that’s all and when i finally do get a connection, it was really slow. Hopefully i’ll post something this weekend.
Mae: My wife will start to become unbearable with all these compliments! And it’s good to hear you will be getting back to blogging soon – I miss your beautiful photographs.
Hi Scott,

You guys are a lovely couple! It’s so very true, what they say: “Najwięcej witaminy mają polskie dziewczyny”
(in free translation: “polish girls are most wonderfull” – no offence girls from around the world, just national pride
)
I decided to took a part in “behind the apron” event too, but unfortunately it’s gonna be only my mug shot – no lovely lady, only lovely polish boat on lovely polish lake
Cya around fellows bloggers
Voidan: It’s entirely true – Polish girls are the most beautiful! I’m just lucky that I have one
